3000 Year Old Masonic Police Force Busted In LA

An apparent rogue police force that claims to have been in existence for 3000 years has been busted by prosecutors in LA.

On April 29th, officers arrested three members of the “Masonic Fraternal Police Department." It is alleged that one of those arrested is the deputy director of community affairs at California’s Justice Department.

The  Masonic Fraternal Police Department (MFPD) had been sending letters to Californian police chiefs asking for meetings.  It is as yet unclear, how far the MFPD got with their meetings and how seriously they were taken by the Californian police chiefs they met.

By January, however, they had gone far enough with their plan to send letters to police chiefs in Southern California asserting its legal authority and announcing changes in its leadership.

According to RAW Story 'officers who met with the group quickly became suspicious (yeah sure!) after their members failed to answer basic questions about the Masonic police department.

“Detectives conducted a thorough investigation in collaboration with several law enforcement agencies and determined MFPD was not a legitimate police agency,” Los Angeles County Sheriff’s department said.

However, according to the MFPD's website, legitimacy is not up for question.  They say :-

'When asked what is the difference between The Masonic Fraternal Police Department and other Police Departments the answer is simple for us. We were here first! We are born into this Organization our bloodlines go deeper then an application. This is more then a job it is an obligation.'
